Carl Radke Teases His Status With Ex Lindsay Hubbard

Carl Radke discussed his renewed friendly relationship with ex Lindsay Hubbard from Summer House. He highlighted positive moments and ongoing support between the former couple.

Carl Radke shared positive updates on his evolving friendship with ex-fiancée Lindsay Hubbard during a recent event in New York City, highlighting moments from the latest season of Summer House that stood out for their warmth rather than conflict.

The 41-year-old spoke exclusively to Us Weekly at his Not a Mess event with Gonna Need Milk on Tuesday, May 26, at 74Wythe. He noted that the season featured "lots of nice moments, which has actually been the shining moment, or the shining thing, of the season." Radke pointed to his flirtation with Bailey Taylor and bonds with the cast as enjoyable, but emphasized the renewed connection with Hubbard as particularly meaningful.

"Watching it back now, the thing that makes me happiest for sure is just seeing the bond and the little light flirtation and friendliness that Lindsay and I have," he said. The pair, who got engaged in August 2022 before Radke called off the wedding in September 2023, had faced significant challenges before reaching this point.

Radke expressed pride in their progress. "It makes me happy. You can see I’m smiling, like, because we’ve been through a lot, and I know it took some time to get to that place, but I’m really proud of that," he explained. He mentioned seeing Hubbard at a Vulture party over the last month, where they danced while Kyle Cooke served as DJ.

The former couple has maintained contact through texting, with Radke noting that Hubbard reached out recently about ongoing matters and he offered support. "It’s been really nice to bond, and Lindsay and I have texted each other," he revealed. "She sent me a text the other day about some stuff going on, and I was there to try and support her."

Radke is not involved in the Summer House spinoff In the City, which features Hubbard, but he expressed no sense of missing out. Instead, he focused on being supportive of the cast as they pursue new projects. "In the City’s on, and there’s still other stuff happening," he added.

The Summer House reunion is set to continue with parts 2 and 3 airing in June on Bravo. Radke attended the May 26 event alongside Jesse Solomon, KJ Dillard and Mia Calabrese, underscoring the ongoing support network among the group.

During the appearance, Radke also discussed his long-standing habit of drinking milk, crediting it for his height and noting he has never broken a bone. "I actually drink a lot of milk, and I’ve been drinking milk by the carton since I was a little kid," he shared. "I still argue that the reason I’m so tall is because of milk. And fun fact, I’ve never broken a bone. … so, thank you, milk."

Summer House airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo, with In the City following at 9 p.m. ET. New episodes become available the next day on Peacock. Related coverage has referenced additional details from the show’s reunion, including comments from Hubbard about interactions involving Danielle after the split, though Radke’s remarks centered on the current positive dynamic.

Observers of the Bravo series have noted the pair’s history included both the engagement period and the subsequent breakup, which played out on camera during season 10. Radke’s comments suggest a deliberate effort to move forward amicably amid the group’s shared professional commitments.

Cast members have continued to appear at promotional events together, reflecting the interconnected nature of the Summer House franchise. Radke’s appearance at the milk-themed gathering provided an opportunity to address both personal updates and lighter topics outside the show’s typical drama.

According to reports from the event, the focus remained on the cast’s ability to maintain relationships beyond the on-screen conflicts. Hubbard and Radke’s interactions, including the recent party sighting, illustrate one example of that transition.

Additional context from the series indicates that season 10 captured various interpersonal developments among the housemates in the Hamptons setting. Radke’s reflections add a layer of perspective on how those events translated to real-life outcomes for the former couple.

As the reunion episodes approach, further discussions among the cast may provide additional insight into the group dynamics. Radke’s statements position the friendship as a notable takeaway from the season’s broadcast.
