Amanda Conner, the wife of "Teen Mom" alum Ryan Edwards, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence and child neglect after allegedly driving on the wrong side of the road with a baby in the car, according to reports from the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office Jail in Tennessee.
TMZ first reported the arrest on Sunday, May 24, citing a jail spokesperson who confirmed Conner had been taken into custody. She faces charges including DUI, child abuse or neglect, and driving on the wrong side of the road. Her bond was set at $16,000, though it remains unclear whether she has posted it.
Dispatch audio obtained by TMZ indicated that a husband called police out of concern that his wife had been using narcotics. The caller reportedly said the wife refused a drug test and had left the home with their baby. The dispatcher did not name Edwards or Conner during the recorded call.
If released, Conner will not be allowed to contact the alleged child victim, according to the report. Her court hearing is scheduled for June 3.
Conner has a prior criminal history that includes several guilty pleas dating back to 2010. Court documents obtained by People show she pleaded guilty to DUI and possession of a controlled substance in 2023.
Edwards rose to fame on "Teen Mom OG" alongside his ex-partner Maci Bookout, with whom he shares son Bentley, now 17. The couple split in 2010 but continued appearing on the show to coparent. Edwards later married Mackenzie Standifer in 2017; their divorce was finalized in 2025.
Edwards proposed to Conner in 2024, and the pair married two weeks after his divorce from Standifer. Together, Edwards and Conner share a daughter, Presley, born in February 2025. Edwards also has two children with Standifer: son Jagger, 7, and daughter Stella, 6.
Earlier this year, the couple faced rumors of a split that both denied. In a January Instagram post, Conner wrote that not every post she made related to her relationship. "Just because I make a post doesn’t mean there’s anything going on with me and Ryan or me and anyone else," she said. "I also have a life, and I also have other family."
Conner later addressed a cryptic post in which she said she was "OK" but "more aware." She stated that she and Edwards were "offended" after a journalist reached out for comment. "Stop being messy and stop taking everything out of context that I post, he posts or anybody for future reference," Conner wrote. "Me and Ryan are good other than the every day little bickering because he don’t pick his clothes up from the floor or he won’t wash the sink out after he brushes his teeth. Other than that, we’re good."
The arrest marks another legal issue for Edwards, who has faced previous troubles documented in a timeline by Us Weekly. Officials have not released additional details beyond the charges and booking information.
Conner’s case will proceed through the Tennessee court system, with the June 3 hearing expected to address the pending charges.
