The official Heated Rivalry fleece jacket is finally available for pre-order

The article reports on the pre-order launch of the official Heated Rivalry fleece jacket replica through Province of Canada, including pricing details to come, charity donations, and shipping timelines.

The official replica of the fleece jacket featured in the Crave series Heated Rivalry is now available for pre-order, marking the end of months of fan anticipation following the show's debut last fall.

Pre-orders open June 3 at 9 a.m. Vancouver time exclusively through the Province of Canada website. The limited-edition item replicates the Team Canada fleece worn by character Shane Hollander, played by Hudson Williams, during a scene set at the Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia.

The jacket gained significant attention after the six-episode first season aired, inspiring online tutorials and the social media campaign #ReleaseTheFleece. Fans even petitioned official Team Canada organizers ahead of the 2026 Winter Olympics in Italy to produce similar merchandise.

Production will use unisex sizing from XS to 5XL, with a size chart available on the retailer's site. All orders are final sale, and customers are limited to one jacket each.

“We chose You Can Play because their unwavering dedication to inclusivity mirrors the very heart of Heated Rivalry,” said Heated Rivalry creator Jacob Tierney in a joint statement with his Accent Aigu co-founder Brendan Brady. “Teamwork, respect, and the courage to be yourself are values that You Can Play brings to life every day. We’re proud to support their work creating spaces where everyone truly belongs.”

Ten percent of net profits from sales will go to You Can Play, a nonprofit focused on LGBTQ+ inclusion in sports. The National Hockey League and the National Hockey League Players’ Association have each pledged a one-time $25,000 donation to the same organization as part of the launch.

Costume designer Hanna Puley, who created the original jacket for the series, reflected on its impact in a February 2026 interview with CBC. “I make a lot of outfits in my life. I tell a lot of stories with costuming. This one is one that absolutely feels special,” Puley said. “It’s pretty incredible that people feel, I think, so held, actually, by this jacket. And I think in that way, it’s an honour to be part of it.”

The series is adapted from Rachel Reid’s best-selling Game Changers books and centers on the secret romance between rival hockey players Shane Hollander of the Montreal Metros and Ilya Rozanov of the Boston Raiders, portrayed by Connor Storrie. Both actors have seen their profiles rise sharply since the show’s release, with appearances at the Emmys, Oscars, and on late-night television.

Shipping within Canada is free, while U.S. orders cost $25 CAD. International delivery is available to Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and Japan, with rates varying by destination. Production begins after pre-orders close, with shipments scheduled between Oct. 1 and 15.

“If we can ship earlier, we will,” the company noted on its website. “Shipments will go out in batches, so don’t worry if you start to see other customers receive their jackets. Yours will be on its way.”

Season 2 of Heated Rivalry is slated to begin filming later this summer. The show’s popularity has extended beyond its core audience, drawing attention to both the on-screen romance and the real-world themes of inclusion it promotes through the charity partnership.
