Timothee Chalamet and Kylie Jenner Cheer on Knicks in Matching Outfits for Courtside Date Night

Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner attended a Knicks playoff game in matching outfits as the team advanced to the NBA Finals. The report draws from Us Weekly coverage of their relationship and fandom.

Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner cheered courtside as the New York Knicks secured a decisive 130-90 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers at Rocket Arena in Cleveland, clinching the Eastern Conference Finals and advancing to the NBA Finals for the first time in 27 years.

The couple wore matching blue-and-orange Knicks T-shirts during the game, which completed a four-game sweep for the Knicks. They will next face either the Oklahoma City Thunder or the San Antonio Spurs in the championship series.

Chalamet, 30, has long been a dedicated Knicks supporter. He shared memories of attending games as a child during an appearance on the “7PM in Brooklyn with Carmelo Anthony” podcast in December 2025. “One of my first games, I was 10 years old, was the Denver Nuggets vs. the New York Knicks,” he said. “If you look at the footage … I snuck down with my buddy. We’re on the tunnel exit and you can see the players. You can see a little kid going nuts on the players! That was me!”

The 2008 contest at Madison Square Garden is remembered for a brawl that led to all ten players on the court being ejected and seven suspensions handed out by the league.

Jenner, 28, has joined Chalamet at several Knicks games this season. She recently commented “daddy” on a social media video showing him entering Madison Square Garden with a new haircut and mustache ahead of a May 19 matchup against the Cavaliers.

Chalamet’s commitment to the team was evident earlier this month when he skipped the Met Gala on May 4 to attend a Knicks game instead. The team defeated the Philadelphia 76ers 137-98 that night.

According to a source who spoke to Us Weekly, Chalamet and Jenner are “very serious and have talked about getting engaged this year.” The insider added that “Kylie definitely runs the show, and Timothée loves it. It is a great balance between both of their personalities, and it works.”

The pair began dating in early 2023 but kept a low profile until making several public appearances together this year, including at the Critics’ Choice Awards in January and the Academy Awards in March.

The Eastern Conference Finals drew other high-profile spectators earlier in the month. Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce attended a game at the same Cleveland arena on May 23 to support the Cavaliers.

Jenner has shown support for Chalamet’s fandom in other ways, including reposting a clip from “Sex and the City” about celebrating Knicks wins.

Chalamet’s courtside appearances have become a regular feature this postseason, reflecting his lifelong connection to the franchise that dates back to childhood games at Madison Square Garden.

Officials with the Knicks organization have not commented on the couple’s presence at recent games, though the team’s advancement marks a significant milestone for the franchise and its fans.

The Knicks’ sweep of the Cavaliers sets up an intriguing Finals matchup, with the outcome depending on the Western Conference series between Oklahoma City and San Antonio.
